A new year brings with it a fresh page, one filled with new hope, new goals and new opportunities. It is also a reminder of a year that’s come and gone. It’s amazing to think what any of us can achieve within 365 (or 366 depending on a leap year!) days. 2014 has been a big year for OpenLearning, full of many milestones, new partnerships, courses and students from around the world.

We’ve grown from 30,000 to over 100,000 students, which wouldn’t have been possible without our growing team that more than doubled in size! We welcomed amazing new partners, including: the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, Guokr, AGSM, InteGlobal and several MOOC portals. Some of our team found themselves in China, Singapore and Malaysia this year meeting interesting startups, universities and students. On a local level, Adam participated in the CEO Sleepout, we helped sponsor and mentor the Sydney Edutech Startup Weekend and started embracing healthier habits within the office (no more M&M’s for us)!

Those were some of our highlights but it’s your stories and experiences that helped build this learning community. Over this past year, we’ve kept up with your successes, the day-to-day challenges you’ve shared and witnessed new friendships. Now, we’d love to hear from you.

The crazy thing about time is it passes so quickly, we sometimes forget to stop and appreciate how far we’ve come. With 2014 coming to an end, lets reflect, celebrate and support each other into another great new year.

So, how was your year? What were your highs, lows and everything in-between? Share your year through stories and pictures in the comments!

Happy (early) 2015 OpenLearner’s – thank you for making this our best year yet!
